I don't think they are, as I had the Optech before and wile real similar, I did not care for them, as soon as I tried the CPS, it was like Ahhhh, this is nice!

Thanks to this post and all it's contributors I have a new camera strap that I think is going to work well for me. I am not a petite lady and regular camera straps leave the camera hanging in an uncomfortable position. The Black Rapid I purchased several years ago was my best option until I read this post. I checked out all the straps and the one that caught my attention was the Optech because it was longer than a regular strap and if it wasn't long enough there are extenders. I purchased the Super Classic Uniloop thinking that I would have to purchase the extenders to put the camera in a comfortable position. The strap arrived today and I attached it to the camera and adjusted it all the way out. Perfect. I won't need the extenders. The wider pad at the neck will also make it more comfortable.

So thanks for the help. I don't know if the OP was helped but you definitely helped me!!!

I prefer the custom slr straps. I had problems with the black rapid straps becoming undone. https://customslr.com/collections/camera-straps
