Admit nothing.
Deny Everything .
Make counter accusations.

This section is more discussion about equipment, methods, and equipment.

In this particular case, when people see the picture they seem to think that warblers are like robins - you can just poke your head out the door tomorrow and take another picture - not realizing that warblers spend the summer in Canada and winter in the tropics, so they just pass through the U.S. during two short periods each year.

Thank you for understanding, if he, by chance, returns, will try to get a snapshot in the tree, if he holds still long enough.

Warblers usually live at tree tops chasing mosquitoes and other small insects. Because of my wife's schedule, we usually arrive after migration is largely over, but we have made about a dozen trips to Pt Pelee NP, on the north shore of Lake Erie, along warbler migration path. On three occasions I've been able to take a picture of warblers at our level, once a nesting pair and twice birds at some distance away.

(1) now did you ever get this picture??

(2) advice:

(a) next time post in the Gallery, where pictures are supposed to be displayed, rather than in this section, which is for talk

(b) turn date off
Warblers usually live at tree tops chasing mosquit... (show quote)

This warbler was eating the suet in my back yard. I will remember to post in the gallery next time. Is there any way that I could erase the date stamp???

It certainly can't be hurt. I kinda agree with everyone else but thought I would give it a quick try.

That goes beyond boring into the realm of just plain ugly.

I'll see your bird and raise you this. How can I make this image better?

If it was the last one of It's kind on the planet I would save it. Otherwise it is what I call an " event " photo, otherwise use it as a tool and learn how to improve your technique and perspectives etc.. A learning opportunity. Good luck and keep on shooting, no one is perfect.

If it were me:
1st suggestion: If were feasible, I would have that main plug moved to a more convenient place and install a double gang.

2nd Suggestion: If money was tight, purchase at a big box store, a package of cup hooks; install a cup hook at each corner on top of the door, & run an extension cord through the cup hooks, allowing you to open the door without interference from the extension cord.

You must be perfect in all you do. I bet you there are numerous subjects and activities you know nothing about. Must be great to be such a fountain of wisdom and knowledge.
