Following last week's apprehension of the mole who was suspected of selling Ministry secrets to Nanook of the North, the Dark Ladies did all they could to extract information from her. But Omi was a tough nut to crack, wouldn't say a word during the relentless questioning.
The Martian at last flung his paws in the air and said his patience was at an end. His planned invasion of Rhode Island was on hold, costs were rising by the day, and heaven only knew whether his plans were now an open book, with a Nanookian army waiting in ambush at Rhode Island's borders. He placed a call to the Northern Division and Grand Panjandrum Tippit, head of the Kitty Council, who at once dispatched the commander of Seal Team 9-Lives, a ferocious feline with an iron will, known simply as 'The Colonel.'
Thats a superb Portrait Randy.
I like your stories as much as I like your portraits.
The story matches that gorgeous portrait of the Kitty. Outstanding work Randy.

I often get so focused on your delightful narratives that I fail to comment on what a good photographer you are. This is an excellent portrait Randy. Rhode Island has no idea what a near thing it was!

Thanks, Chwlo. Glad you enjoy them. I find the characters of the Ministry of Mayhem quite entertaining, lol, and certainly makes the photos a little more fun.
Thanks for stopping by and your very kind comments, they're much appreciated!

Thanks, Mike. This little guy is a feral that was hanging about my place on and off since last summer. Caught him and brought him in about six weeks ago, absolutely the sweetest cat I've had here in years. Glad you enjoyed the shot of him.
Thanks as always for your very kind words and visit, they're very much appreciated!

Thank you, Phil. I'm never sure which I have more fun with--the photos or the stories. One without the other would be a diminishment, lol. Glad you enjoy them.
I'm sure the Rhode Islanders are breathing a huge sigh of relief (assuming there aren't swarms of Nanookians now encamped at the border). It still galls the Martian that the last time he conquered the state, he had to give it back, having not filed the proper Permit to Invade. But what can you do, rules are rules...
Thanks for the kind comments and visit, they're always very much appreciated!
