As others have suggested, Dropbox is a great option. Also, backing your photos up in the cloud is an excellent way to preserve them from loss. I find Dropbox easy to use and back up all of my photos there, as well as providing an easy way to share them. I purchased 1 TB on Dropbox and have almost hit that limit, so I'll be upgrading soon to 2 TB. There are other options that are less expensive, but I think Dropbox is easy to use for you and whomever you're sharing photos with, as well as reliable and likely to be around in the future. Try the free version, and if it works for you, go with whatever you need. Be advised that if you have a lot of photos and a slow connection, it will take a long time to upload all of your photos. I only have a DSL line and it took something like 3 months to get everything uploaded. However, now it's not a problem to do uploads as I take photos.
