You make this same irrelevant suggestion regardless of what the specs are.
Not smaller
Not full frame
This has already been addressed, rehess.

I am not able to carry my heavy camera equipment any longer and am looking for something lighter to replace it. I would like a mirror-less full frame, (crop if I must) 20-24 megapixel sensor, any brand. I would like to keep the price at $1000 or less. My Sony a6000 died and I might have to replace it. I have been reading reviews and can't decide and I would appreciate suggestions.
Smaller? Lighter? It will not be a full frame system! The best systems that save lots of weight are Micro 4/3 from Olympus and Panasonic. Start with the Lumix G85 or a GX8.
Why not another Sony? By the way, I use Olympus M43 mirrorless cameras which are also full frame.
I have found that 17 MP. are more pixels than I actually need.
Want full frame, but light weight and cheap? Doesn't exist. If light-weight is the priority, you'll find all the quality/blow-up-ability in a host of APS-C or 4/3 cameras and lenses. Don't obsess about the "FF quality" myth. Chances are, your livelihood does not depend on the differences the format will make.

Canon T7I is the perfect camera for you. Team it with a Canon 10-18 and Sigma 18-250 and be set for life! I got the best deal anywhere from Greentoe.com!
There was a similar response by you on another request by a member for a lighter camera. Clearly you are a greentoe fan and good for you. But I would not classify your response here, or before, appropriate for someone whose quest is for a lighter camera.
FujiFilm XT-20. Huge Facebook following. Super online tutorials, free firmware updates.
I know you're looking for a full frame mirror-less. As an alternative, I've highly enjoyed my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000. Yes, it's a point and shoot bridge camera (I can hear the snickers now), but I prefer a lighter load than my former multi-lenses Canon film camera (back in the day). Has a reasonable reach (up to 400mm), reasonable f-stop for low light, and a whole lot of adjustments you can make. 20.1 MP, with a 1" sensor. Besides a swivel LCD, also has an electronic viewfinder. Allows you to take quick shots, and movies (up to 4K), without having to switch lenses. Shoots RAW. It is light, and very convenient to use. I travel extensively, and "light" is a BIG consideration.

Check this out before you jump too quickly.

Good article.

Well, for full frame Sony has a version of the a7 with a kit lens pretty close to your budget.
https://www.adorama.com/isoa7ka.htmlBut, with interchangeable lenses, you're still going to have the weight and bulk issues. Look at options with smaller sensors. The advancements in the technology has come so far, I would not rule out a lot of the great options out there.
Again go to a store and find one that you can handle.

Take a look at the Fuji X-E3.

If my ears serve me right I believe the OP was talking about a smaller and lighter camera.
As DSLRs go the Rebel series are smaller but I think the OP may have a preference for mirrorless.

On another thread, somebody just posted photos (pg. 6 in the thread "Going to Italy") comparing the sizes of a Nikon D7100 w/lens and a Fuji with a comparable lens. The Fuji was much smaller and lighter.
Coulda been me. If so, hereâs the comparison photo
