A good artist and a good photo. Nice B&W work. And it's good the way you caught her leaning to the side so her art would be visible. And the guy to the left gives it an authentic "street" feel.

Glad you liked it. BTW - "she" is a guy in an old-fashioned kilt.

Ooops. And I was thinking of adding a comment like that old insult kids used to say--"Your mother wears combat boots".

I thought she looked like a guy--the legs gave him away for me.
Nice photo, too!

If this posts twice I apologize. Trying to figure out what clan he was, or if he just used the kilt to wipe his brushes.

You're not a real artist unless your jeans (or kilt) is spattered with paint!

You have caught this one really well Sue. As Voss said he is leaning away so it lets you see the artwork. I always admire people that have this sort of talent, they slap away with the brush and in ten minutes it is done. I would take ten minutes wondering where to start. You have caught the moment precisely .

Thanks! There's always something interesting to see on the Grassmarket! I can't begin to say how much I miss it and the rest of Edinburgh.

Sadly, we probably won't be getting back until September of next year.

That's a pity but I am sure there lots of other good places where artists work in public.
