I definitely do not mind missing those rides to/from work in blizzards and freezing rain. Spent more than one night sleeping in an out patient bed so I'd be sure to get to work the next morning - or I couldn't get home.

Yes, me, too! At least I don't have to sleep over anymore!

So, when I was younger, I loved snow. I loved winter. But now, not so much.

The first picture was taken last year from inside our dining room, looking out onto the deck. As you can see, the deck was covered in about 4' of snow, which I had to shovel through in order to get to the exhaust vent for our furnace. (It only took me a little over an hour...hey, I'm not a spry young un' anymore.)

The other pictures I've posted on here before, but I thought they fit the subject matter and I'm fascinated with pictures of ice. That is, as long as I don't have to be outside too long to get them.

Hope you enjoy, and as always, comments and suggestions are always welcome.

I really like all of this set. Unlike me I prefer the colour to the B&W.
