Playing around tonight trying to get something post-worthy. Its been a while. Hope I can remember how to get this posted.
Your still lifes have always been my favorites, Carlysue. You take a simple subject and turn it into an elegant image.

John, you have always encouraged me, always so kind. Thank you so much for looking and letting me know!

I do tend to lean towards moody, even dark images. Thank you for looking in and enjoying. Now, go have a drink and enjoy that, too!
All of your work is more than worthy to be posted, Carla, and this still life is just beautiful! I love the vintage warmth. This image reminds me of my grandmother's house and makes me homesick for the bygone days...

Very nice image; you might want to try bringing up the overall brightness and the mid-tones. I can see that the rose is very red, and wonder if you'd consider making it more prominent.

CarlySue, a fantastic still life.
I have a feeling that you are hard on yourself since I have never seen anything you post that is no top shelf.
