Br-r-r-r-r!! I recommend putting on a parka before you look at these! Notice the static electric discharge along the film in the second frame...it was so cold that just advancing the film triggered that phenomena.

Thanks for hosting the challenge, Judy. Tried some of these ideas recently on an overnight outing to one of the Highland Lakes in Central Texas on the (Texas) Colorado River.
Not much ice on the lakes and rivers down here in Texas. Spent a little time on and by Lake Buchanan a couple of weeks ago. Walked around a little the evening before the activities the next morning. Winter down here is kind of like spring without new greenery, or fall without leaves on trees.
