That is neat to hear about what your area used to have. Too bad about people losing their lives due to accidents with the quads and such.

Someone else entered a close up part of one of our fire engines and took 1st place and I entered 2 fire scene photos out of my 11 and did not win in any catagory. Oh Well. At least I know my dept personnel love my photos including the Fire Chief. He told me that again in person right at the fair.

WOW! Talk about lucky. If your husband wouldn't have been there to help, who know what would've happened. It is nice to hear though that someone came to thank him for doing that as not many do that these days. That is an honor.
