Hi Folks, these are from November 2014 when a snow storm passed through overnight. This gave us the lingering colors of Fall mixed with the beauty of Winter. Hope you enjoy this set as much as I enjoyed getting these shots.

There is a cabin behind me, but I had to turn and get this shot of tourist walking from the road to the cabin and the pretty view...

Doing alright Joe, how about you? We're just patiently riding out Winter staying nice and cozy at home.

Thanks Earl, was sure when I posted if they'd be enjoyable or not. My old eye sight is getting pretty rotten these days.

We were lucky Carol and were camping in nearby Sevierville when the snow storm hit. The next day all roads into the Smoky Mountain were closed...except those going to Cades Cove. We arrived with temps about 33 degrees and spent the next 5 hours enjoying the wintery scenes. As we left late in the afternoon, it was a balmy 56 degrees and most of the snow was gone. I always wanted some pretty wintery scenes to shoot and got my wish on this day. I am forever thankful too...Hope no one's getting mad with my "big screen" postings.
A very beautiful and excellent set, James and we passed through about four years ago!
Wonderful looking set..beautifully done.
Great set. Enjoyed my time in the Smokies.
