That's not what it means today.
It is also a cute little moniker assigned to those who have differing opinions. Gotta love it!

Yes, I quite agree with you! Actually, in a manner of speaking~if JFK were alive today- he'd more resemble a conservative, in many of his views, as opposed to today's Lib!:> But not to worry> because our country {thank God for Trump!} is moving in the correct direction!:>
Warmest regards and may you have a most 'blessed' Christmas!

Hhhmmm, indeed! As I like to think: "one good Hhhmmm, equally deserves another good and health 'Hhhmmm"!:>

A liberal is someone who can't live without government controlling every aspect of their lives.
They require government to protect them from themselves and force others to behave the way it is liberally acceptable.
Liberals don't care about the Bill of Rights as it pertains to someone else's liberties, but cry foul when they are told 'no cake for you'.

oh and making sure he made his signature narcissistic assed comments about "How Great I am". Jesus Christ. How about be a man and a role model instead of being dickwad and acting like a thug.

There is a legitimate difference of opinions in just what services a government should provide. Such disagreement demeans no one, it’s just a difference.
Liberals think government should provide those services that are too large for private enterprise, and they agree with the rest of the world that the new, expensive medicine is miraculous, but too expensive for private individuals.
This does not make them stupid, dishonest, lazy or irresponsible.
It’s easy to advocate the freedom of bankruptcy, or the liberty of disfigurement or perpetual pain and discomfort and early death.
Citizens give their lives and limbs in defense os the nation, and deserve similar benefits from society in general.
I assure you that liberals appreciate the Constitution and the bill of rights—they are not just something for conservatives to applaud. A nation is a collection of people sharing varying responsibilities and benefits, and the difference between liberals and conservatives is only where to draw the line. That decision casts aspersions on no one.
