Nice shot almost surreal. And that's a lot of lens. Just curious, were you on a tripod and did you use the auto focus or did you focus yourself? I am assuming yes to tripod and manual focus.

What a great picture! One thing I love about eagles... if you're looking straight at them, they look mad/angry. If they lift their head just a little, they look loving and kind--okay, maybe not loving. I sure wouldn't want to be on the business end of that bird.

You must be very pleased that you have eagles near you. Never a dull moment!
