These pictures were taken of a charro group in San Cristobal called the Buena Esperanza. They were in normal working clothes, although some did have on their big hats. We were there in late afternoon into early evening, and the light was going fast. As were the horses. So these aren't great. But it sure was fun!!!
This is a youngster they were chasing around the round pen. Don't know what the purpose was, but it was sort of exciting.

I think this one is pretty cool. Too bad the background is so cluttered.

Me too. I couldn't believe what they could do with those REALLY long ropes. Thanks.

It was so much fun. It was sort of a pick-up shoot. I was looking at some pics our guide had done and commented how much fun that would be. Next thing I knew we were there!
Perfect timing and position for #2, fantastic fast focus on #1, neat background for #3. Super enjoyable series, Kathy.

I love no. 2. It was so cool. And the serendipitousness of his position right in front of me was too cool. #1 is thanks to AI Servo focusing. It works! Funny you should call that a neat background, as I was grumbling about it. Thanks, Linda!
