I sometimes feel like I'm at the back of the bus too until I see a quality image that comes from my K-3, K-70 or K-30. They all make fine images. I guess I just dare to be different.

I use a K-50 and my first DSLR was a K10D. I like the ability to use all of my old Pentax lenses (including screw mount).

What adapter do you use, in order to attach screw-mount lenses, to your K-50, John?

Still miss my spotmatic. Wonder how many Hoggers started with one.

I still have one in great shape along with several vintage lenses. And a K3-ll. I would take my Pentax out in the weather before any other camera that I have.

The K-3 is most certainly a fine camera, Norm ... just about the finest Pentax APS-C out there, I'd say ....

Exactly, Sun ... my K-50 is the first one I grab, when it's raining ... don't trust the others, in the stuff ...

Yeah, me, too, Add .... six isn't anywhere near enough ...

By the way ... that's the 18-200 XR shown ... and it's not available anymore .... shame, huh?

I did, purchasing a Spotmatic very shortly after they were introduced in the 1960s. That was my first interchangeable lens SLR and I've always considered if a landmark camera.

Currently I shoot landscapes with a K-1 and find it to be superb for that use. I doubt there is a better DSLR for landscapes, although I haven't personally done any direct comparisons. Full frame with the K-1s pixel shift resolution technology results in amazingly sharp photos.

It's nice to be back with Pentax again after many years.

It only feels like the back of the bus. I have a K-3 and love it! Also have an ME-Super that I bought in 1982...still works fine, and I can use the 50mm f1.4 lens on my K-3. Recently bought a Super Program (also works fine) on eBay, mainly for the Pentax-A 35 - 70mm lens.

I have a K-3 I use for family trips or when I want something lighter than my Nikons.

I have 2 old Pentax SV's that I bought in Germany while in the Army 67-68. I haven't used them in years but they were cheap alternatives to Nikons when you are a pfc/sp4. Over those years I accumulated 5 Super Takumar lenses and a bellows. Recently bought an adapter Pentax to Nikon (D600). Won't be auto but sb interesting. The Takumars were good glass.
