Robert, I've seen enough of this gentleman's work to know that IF he did add the person into the scene, he added "footstep shadows" to make it REALLY look like she belongs there..
OR maybe he's "getting into our heads??

Brent- my guess is that it is a composite of 3 images:
1. The landscape,
2. The person is added in,
3. The sky is not the original sky.
LOVE this Brent and like so many of yours it did it again--made me say "OH WOW"
OK... the answer is #3 He was just "LUCKY" enough to catch a multiple burst of lightning strikes as the person walked past..
What do I win??????

I would have enjoyed it much more if that person wasn't in the photo. Just my opinion.
well the first photo I had to respond to , fabulous, love it, love the persons reflection on the wet rock. Yes the sky does look "other worldly, but guess that's the light from the lightening effect on the clouds.
Love Moab too great place for photographers
Well, is it ps'ed or not?

I'm no expert, but I can see pictures so if you're really asking me, then I have to honestly say that I would rather let the experts do the review...
NO...There are more people like you putting in their $0.02 so jump in.
OK;
We r being told that the "truth will come out once there are 5 pages worth of replies.."
SO.... Everyone (who wants to know,) please forward a couple of "thumbs up" in 2-3 replies, so that they get to 5 pages!!!

This is like a puzzler to bewilder and tease us .
So I'm thinking either the lightening/sky was added in post or the figure walking was.
or you were just damn lucky to catch multiple bolts of lightening as the figure was walking away.
gotta look closer.....
Either way, you did a hell of a job.
Why does it matter???????
it is a great photo, so why does it matter. Just praise the art behind it
I love the photo, the ground is wet and a small water fall a little left of the person which I think was added only the person has a shadow, none of the bushes do. The sky is amazing, the lighting bolt branchs out to three, if the sky was PP'ed it was WELL done.
