That track does not look abandoned.
My thoughts exactly; it's a much better place to teach her to stay away from than a place to practice balance
You have a couple of prize winners there!

Jerry, I'm glad you like the shots. Although I have to drive 50 miles to get where we going to take the pictures, it was a very enjoyable afternoon.

Mike, ordinarily I would agree your point was spot on, but this was a special circumstance. This is a privet spear line that services some mining operations in the north eastern corner of Washington State. On this weekend there were no commercial train on this track, but rather a fun train sponsored by the Lions Club as a fund raiser. The 2 engines hooked onto some vintage rail cars, load up a bunch of kids and some adults, and then took a slow ride along the Pond Orialle River. The trains schedule is published in various local newspapers, so we were completely aware of when the train would be passing our location. It travels at about 5 mph; not exactly nose bleed speed. I can assure you, I am all about safety, and I can also assure you this was safer than crossing any city street in the United States.
I'm very happy you liked the pictures I posted. Thank you for checking in and your comments.

Hi JCam,
Your point was well taken, but here is what I posted for Mike.

George, I am so glad you liked the photos. I take a lot of pictures of my little girlfriend next door of whatever crazy thing she is doing that day. This is kind of a collection over the last couple of years. I think she keeps me young.

Hi merrytexan,
Thank you for your comment. I think everyone would be better off if they lucky enough to have a wild girlfriend next door.

Hi grillmaster5062,
Thank you for your comment. She is a cute kid. She was just at the door 2 minutes ago with her pet rabbit (Willow) and a birthday card for my wife. She probably had a little help, but she wrote everything herself.
She is a lot of fun to have around.
Thank you.
