I received an e-mail from Amazon this morning that they can no longer supply me with Canon CLI-8C (cyan) ink for my Pixma 9000 Mark II printer. It was ordered on 9/28 along with a cartridge of photo magenta. Apparently the PM is available - however even though I ordered it on 9/28 I will not receive the PM until 10/23-11/2. As I look around I see CLI-8C available for over $20 a cartridge. What is happening? And, where do others obtain their Canon inks? I recently ordered 12 cartridges of BCI-21 ink for my Canon MultiPass C5500 Copy/Fax at a grand total of $7.92, shipping included, from Inkcartridges.com - am about to purchase ink for my Pixma from them. Ideas? Suggestions?

Have you tried Atlex? They have good prices.

I have used remanufactured cartridges for years, with no problems at a price of $1-2 per cartridge. I once tried one of those continuous flow rigs. It was a disaster! Jammed my printer and was extremely difficult to install, wasn't worth the cost or trouble.
You can get remanufactured cartridges on E-bay. Just read the customer evaluations, to make sure they are recognized by your printer. The ink seems to be good, with no smears, runs or fades.

I haven't used Canon ink for 15 years, third party inks and I haven't had a problem yet.

Hey PG....Here is another source for inks. Try: 1_ink.com

Amazon is always my first choice, but I will check eBay if I can't find what I want at Amazon.

Here is the Ebay listing I have used for multiple years...note 99.9% approval on 22K transactions! That is impressive.

Just what I needed to hear, I have a Canon PIXMA PRO-9000 Printer. So far I have been getting reamed at Staples.

I've been buying all my Canon CLI-8 inks from B&H and if the order is over $49.00 (I make sure it is) free shipping and no tax outside of NY. Delivery here to the Maryland Easton Shore is generally second day, often the next day. I ordered two Blacks & one Cyan on 9/7 and got them on 9/9.

Not sure if the are still doing this, but the last two times I ordered two cartridges from Canon, I received a ton of photo paper free. It included 8 1/2 x 11 and 13x 19 50 sheets in each package. Great deal !

Be careful---I had 2 Pixmas AIO and ordered ink from a supplier (non Canon brand ink) and both printers malfunctioned, error message B300. I bought a new Epson AIO. Canon seems to want you to use only their expensive ink. Good luck.

Lindysue, What is error code B300? The manual for my Pixma Pro 9000 MK II doesn't show that code except with a Mackintosh printer and it just says 300, no "B"? For the MAC it just says "Printer Error" turn the printer off, let it sit and then turn on again.

Been buying ink from LD Products for over 15 years. Always good to work with.
