Very nice series love the heron
Now this may seem a bit outside the thematic parameters of the day but the story here is indeed within PG's frame. This mailbox is in its habitat having been there for 23 years, 2 months and 3 or 4 days now after being retrieved from a shelf in the hardware store over in St-Charles.
The flag has been a daily sign of the arrival of good news and bad news and old man Gosselin would faithfully check it out daily, sometimes twice a day on weekends as the carrier didn't stop by then. In 1999 it had its post change after being hit by a honey wagon, but other than that it has stood guard, straight and faithful through all seasons. I raise my own red flag in honor of this metal box's stamina and perserverance...Amen

Welcome to Day 189 :) Today it's all about Natural Habitats. A subject that I thought would be much more simple that it actually was. I tried not to go to the zoo .. so as a result I didn't find too much around here. Here are a few examples to get us started .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.
Here are a few of my favs. for the offering.....
