Well thats a confirmed lie. Now, your body of work? No portfolio to be seen? No webpage at all? How can you say there are LKP when you have NOTHING to show for?

It certainly proved that he's dumber than a box of rocks.

Now let's see if he can prove that he's not a liar and a fraud.

1) You did. See http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-31174-17.html#3217914 The camera model is identified in the EXIF information.
2) There is the Pentax 645Z 51.4 MP at $7000
3) I have 2 Hasselblads and a Rolleiflex. I used a Mamiya RB67 before I got the Hasselblads and the 4x5 view camera..
4) You have no idea what you are talking about.

I guess that makes you dumber than me.

I don't care what some reviewer I have never heard of says about a camera and I certainly don't trust your hearsay "evidence".

I don't have anything to disprove. You still need to prove that you are not a liar and a fraud.

Well, well. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. I posted that pic 3 years ago as an example of the RX10 output. And it is a really good example of a 1 inch sensor's output. My wife still uses that $1300 camera.-- You've got the quote, go prove it wrong. As for your cameras, what a buntch of old junk. No wonder you're in denial about the 850. Sometime think about the know-nothing clowns that buttress your uninformed opinions.

I don't have to prove anything, you do. It's your thread.

The only thing you have demonstrated so far is that you are not very bright.

Please show me a picture you took that required more than 3 fps.

I hate to chime in but this is an example I took the other morning with d500, 10 frames a sec was useful, cannot wait for d850 I get it on Tuesday and should handle highlights much better.
Cheers

I'm sorry, but you said you have never posted a picture from an Rx10. So that turned out to be a lie. What else do you want others to prove wrong? As far as the equipment being junk? Do you not know that it is the person behind the camera that determines the outcome. Or are you saying that if I got my hands on a D850, my shots would be better than yours if you are using the second best camera in the world (d750)? Is that what you are saying? Or are you saying something else?

The D850 will not handle highlights any better than any other Nikon. You just need to keep them from blowing out. Don't press your luck and watch for blinkies.

My comment was addressed to the OP. I'm willing to believe that people other than him might have situations where this would be convenient.

Maybe so, I am always watching for highlights in all cameras but as the reviews I have read the d850 does not clip highlights like the d500 does, I find out Tuesday.
Blinkeys will not be available for this kind of action on d850 I just take a shot of something bright and check histogram.
So what makes you think that d850 will respond to highlights similar to d500?

Because all Nikons do exactly the same thing.

When the highlights begin to exceed the limits of the JPEG range (the histogram just passes the right be of the display) the blinkies start to flash. If you have not gone too far (about 8000 in the 14-bit raw file) you can still recover the highlights when you do your own raw conversion on your computer. If you go too far the highlights will pass the limit of the raw file (about 16000 in the raw file) and the highlights will be irretrievably blown.

This does not happen at the same level for each RGB color. To get a better idea of how all of this works, download a copy of RawDigger.

This works the same for Sony cameras - at least for the ones I have tested. It's probably different for Canon cameras but I have not studied them.

I'll keep all you delusional deniers up to date as returns on the 850 continue to come in. Rockwell said its purchase is a no brainer but, that doesn't count for much. Of course, Tony Northrup said essentially the same thing, but who the hell is he! So let's keep track of all LKP deniers so that we can ID those that are seriously dumb. Let the experts speak, but don't forget you heard it from me first. I'll not let you deniers forget it!

So you would bring us reviews from people you don't trust? Don't bother!

We don't need you to keep us up to date with second hand reviews from sources you think are questionable.

Why not come back when you can present us with some first hand evidence of your own? Then we can see if we can trust you. So far you are not doing too well on that front.

No one here said is a bad camera. Its a great camera, the issue here is your big mouth and lack of credibility. Again.....where is your work? You qualified a lot here as LKP. In order to do that logic tells me you should be a seasoned and talented photographer. Where is your work?? You can ignore it but your big mouth seems to have started to dig your own tomb.

Until we see evidence to the contrary I stand by my statement that Dan is a liar and a fraud.
