Is it true that all the cameras shipped to Texas came with little lassos and spurs? Just kiddin'. Post some pics ASAP.

"Horseback assessment"? Would that be synonymous with virtually useless?

Yeah... that's the Montana equivalent of a tractorseat assessment, or the Saudi equivalent of camelback assessment. Camel, being taller, gives a better vantage point, and wins.

"Camel, being taller, gives a better vantage point, and wins."
Kind of depends on which tractor

The joy stick to move the focus points is a great feature. I used it recently with my D500 at a studio photo shoot. I was able to keep a focus point on the model's face at all times. Having a dedicated ISO button directly behind the shutter button is a great design feature. It seems that Nikon is including that ISO button on more cameras now.

Not such a good feature if you are left-eyed. After poking myself in my right eye, I quit using this feature on my D500......

I am a left eye shooter and my body has two joysticks. But they don't project far enough to get in an eye unless you were really pressing your non shooting eye into the rear of the camera. But I guess you're mileage may vary....

I'm not sure I'm coordinated enough to use a joystick while looking through the Optical View Finder.

Use mine with my right thumb... it's sort of like back button focus. Once you do it for a month or so it becomes second nature... I usually struggle more with the front side of the camera body buttons.

Best,
Todd Ferguson
