Not known yet. Could be any one of three possible paths.

I sometimes write with some degree of satire.
With respect to the U.S., Irma is headed for South Florida.
There is nothing to divert it, weaken it, or change its path.
Crap.

Weather this morning showed Irma heading up along Puerto Rico by Sat at 2am. With Miami and the Caribbean in it's sights! But Mother Nature has changed her mind before, JUST BE READY AND STAY SAFE! At present she is a Cat 5 with 175 mph winds!

Hurricanes are just awful to experience, no matter where you live. Destruction of property, jobs, casualties, and lastly your spirit. This one has been up to a category 5. In the next few days, a more precise path will be determined. Prepare now, and don't be a casualty.

I experienced Andrew in 1992. Since then, we have been lucky; I have only seen the need to close the shutters on my house one time--this I think is the time. Big storm, no apparent diversion.

I remember Andrew from television reports during that time. It was one of the awful ones too.

There are many things that can change the path of Irma. Relax, you don't have to play the victim card just yet. LOL

Good luck, my friend. Get out if the need arises. Harvey was bad.., this could be worse.

Batten down the hatches and pack in the supplies. Just moved out of Miami, was there in August 1992.
