I have always told people when they want a light beer. I say, hold on there a second; lets get a regular beer, two glasses and a glass of water. They look intrigued and I take the empty glasses, open the regular and devide it between the two glasses. Ten I take the glass of water and tap off the half glasses with beer; stir lightly and hand one to them and say; here's your light beer. Next time grow a pair and order a real man's beer!

From what I read, they are canning drinking water for the flood victims, which I think is a nice gesture.

It's a wonderful gesture...as lost as some middleman isn't price-gouging when it gets to those who need it. In any event, you have to admit it's a great joke describing it as Bud's new light beer.

Now that you brought up Busch canning water for Texas, I wonder the cost difference between the cans and the plastic bottles.
If the cans turn out to be more cost I tent to feel that Busch is using it as some kind of commercial for their product -- BEER!

In the aftermath of the 1989 earthquake in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Budweiser plant in Fairfield also provided canned water. They didn't sell it, but rather left stacks of them on street corners. Very generous.

Hopefully you don't suggest that women "grow a pair," that is I hope you realize that there are some women who drink beer and there are some of them who prefer Budweiser. I once had a girlfriend who was very brand loyal, her brand was definitely Budweiser! Yeach. If you think Bud Light it too light, try a Coors Light!

I was just remarking to light beer. Many drink it thinking it has less calories but the only legal requirement to brand it light beer is that it is lighter in color than regular beer. And, many light beers have more calories in them than regular beer. Another scam on America from the food industry and our corrupt government. The whole thing of light beer is a marketing scam to make people they are helping their health by switching to it; it's a bad joke; therefore I mock it. Besides in most cases, it applies.

Better not tell that to Anheuser Busch. They have a brewery in Los Angeles and several other cities. I don't think you can get any Europeans to drink a Bud Light.
