I had no trouble having PSE 13 and 15 on the same computer. A Samsung i7, 8gb ram, 1 TB hard drive laptop. Running Windows 10.

I have had Elements 13, 14 and 15 all installed at the same time and had no problem running and of them. They co-exist fine.

That is a pretty old OS these days, so I presume your Mac wont take the latest updates. I run 10.12.6 on my iMac, and had a problem when I downloaded and installed 15. On startup both PS and Premiere elements I just kept getting a message box with a whole lot of mostly meaningless jibber (to me that is). Looking through this stuff I noted it said the problem was "no library". So I downloaded PSE again and bingo all is well with both programs.
