Hi- Having a problem with Elements 15 both Photoshop & Premiere. After loading this product which appears to be ok then on start get a Application Error - Application was unable to start correctly. Contact with Adobe indicates the problem is Elements 15 will not start when you have Elements 11 &/OR 13 installed on the same computer. Anyone else had this problem or have a means to over come this issue?
I have Elements 13 installed and had no issues when I added Elements 15 last year.

Must be new with 15. I have 14 and 8 still installed, and either works fine, at least on my computer.
Is there a reason to keep older versions on the computer?

You know Bill, you're right - just laziness on my part. You've just prompted me to remove 8 and free up some disk space - Thanks!

As others have stated, you can have multiple versions of PSE installed on your computer. The fact that your system is not allowing you to do that may mean there are other things wrong with your installation that may show up in other areas as well.
a problem with removing EL-11 & 13 & not be able to bring EL 15 on board first is all files will be lost. Second no problems with DVD's or downloads from any other source have occurred. Plus both DVD & down loads from Adobe have same problem. In fact the tech from Adobe said we recommend using a different computer.

I have both 13 & 15 and run either (or both) on Windows 10 with no problem.

Removing the program should not remove your image files. But as others have said, you should be able to have more than one version on the computer.
If you have virus protection running, turn it off.

i started with Photoshop 13 and had it downloaded in my laptop when I decided to upgrade to 15. I had no problems opening 15. When I downloaded 15 I did nothing to 13, just left it in my documents. After almost two years it still is listed but it is empty when you opened it. If you have Windows 10 that could be causing a problem. I had to get rid of Windows 10 because it was messing up everything.
It is very difficult to get in contact Adobe but try. I probably have confused you more than helped< but again 15 is working good for me. Good luck

Tks My OS is 8.1 PRO so W-10 is not the issue
Upgrade your graphics (video) card. to a faster and increased memory card. I had the same problem with 15 and Topaz new Studio program. Topaz recommended the change, which is very easy, and now everything is running fine: Larry
Additional Note! B&H was great in helping me select a video card upgrade. They looked up my PC model and gave me lots of help in ordering the right thing. They are really great folks, and I needed some help: Larry
Something must have happened to my computer! I upgraded from PSE9 to PSE14. I still had PSE9 on the computer because I like the way it did HDR. After I installed 14, I clicked on the 9 desktop icon and 14 opened. After this happened a few times I just deleted 9 from my computer. When I went to install 9 on another computer, it wouldn't let me. Not looking for responses or tips on how to install 9 (because I discarded the program); just relating what happened to me!

Yes, I find it easier to print sizes that Canon hasn't seen fit to include in there print program, mostly 11" x 14", using my old PSE 10 than the newer, PSE14.
