My son ordered and got several pair for us from Amazon a month or so ago.
Then a couple days ago he gets an e-mail warning him they may be defective.
We have been searching for replacements.
No dice.
Lowes was selling them but I checked there , among many businesses, yesterday. A prominent sign as I walked in..Sold out of Eclipse Glasses.
I got the same message from Amazon, they may not be defective. Some of the third party sellers on Amazon did not get their paperwork together on verifying where they got their items from and whether they meet ISO 12312-2:2015. The items I got from Amazon are from a reputable manufacturer that listed on the approved list that is on the American Astronomical Society eclipse page (
). In my case, it was not defective glasses, but a paperwork problem.
