Others who also do not have the sense to check availability and ship dates are sure to appreciate your warning.

Amazon, among others, have that strap. I would cancel the first order and buy from someone else.

Yep. Did that and found what I wanted at Best Buy.

Some stores have them in stock, though in shorty supply.

I got mine at the local REI store, same price and I got to use it immediately. By the way I love it.

Peak Design's website is professional, reassuring and extremely detailed about anyone's ability to cancel orders and implement Peak Design's lifetime guaranty . They have a specific procedure for asking questions via email about any part of their business and they clearly explain the meaning of limited stock . Not clear why their warehouse stock is depleted, but no doubt they are addressing the problem. Bottom line, it's just a <$60 strap for petes sake, not a $2k to $5k camera or lens some pro needs for an imminent assignment. They will straighten this out. If they don't, I will send TB4 the refund myself.

Peak Design's website is professional, reassuring ... (show quote)

Do you own stock in this company? Relax. They already refunded the money and I bought the strap at a nearby store. I am pleased with the product. I only meant to inform people that there was a 30+ day delay in shipping from their website.

Don't buy from them again. You should have paid attention to before you purchased.

Sorry for your delay. Responders: let's be polite here! No need for derogatory phrases. 😊 TB4 was trying to be helpful.

Thank you! You are exactly correct and I discovered the straps are available elsewhere. All ends well.

Just beware that if you order a Slidelite strap from Peak Design that there is quite a delay on the shipping! I placed an order on June 30 and discovered it won't be shipped until after August 1. Pretty disappointing.

Wow really when I ordered mine I received it in justg a few days. Perhaps they are back ordered.

I had that problem about a month ago. Was able to walk into Bedford Camera here in Springfield, MO and buy one for the same price as online. Good strap on our Alaska trip.

Actually, I looked at a lot of straps before buying the Peak and found none as good. You get what you pay for.

Seems odd, are you sure you are not looking at International Shipping info? They ship domestically from Los Angeles, CA how slow could that be to KS? See bottom of this page from their site

I agree! Guess they are out of stock or have some shipping company taking over deliveries. It's all ok as I got the order cancelled and PayPal refunded as well as picking up the straps at a Best Buy.
