Ordering from B&H

B&Hphoto is awesome ! You have a wierd ,extremely unusual exception to the rule happening and you should ask them for an explanation. Everything we order comes well packaged, quickly within the week -and as ordered!

Thanks for your comments, Bill. I'm relatively new to this site and would never have thought that a fairly innocuous post would elicit such vitriol. But, hey, that's life. I guess it's a testament to B&H that it has such rabid fans.

A while back I ordered several different items from B&H. I too received two boxes but one of the items was missing from both boxes but the packing list had all the items on it. A third box showed up two days later. These items were all from different mfg.s so I assume they shipped what they had and completed the order when they received the merchandise. I think B&H is a very good outfit and I do not use Amazon anymore if B&H has it. Much better service!

Thanks very much, Alan. Photographers are just like everyone else. I should have no reason to expect this to be different than other social media sites.

Not sure what Similar thing happened to me a couple of years ago when different item than I ordered was shipped. They made it right. I appreciated the OP. I thought his post was fair and well written.

Years of purchases ranging from $15 - $3000 and never a problem with the item and most times received them sooner than expected.

I think it would be a rather rare exception, I have ordered from them hundreds of times over a dozen of years and not ones did anything like this ever occurred!
