Yes I remember him well. I also remember his skits making fun of the astronauts in the 60's. He did some really funny work.

Agreed with the last sentence! Cable offers a channel exclusively devoted to late '50s and early '60's TV. I watched a few shows I loved back then but quickly gave it up. What wasn't blatantly racist or sexist, was generally childish and slapstick but that's probably more a reflection of how unsophisticated the medium and the audiences (myself included) were back then. Hell, even Star Trek comes off as pathetically amateurish, these days.

I loved watching him when I was small. I think he was among the top comedians ever.

I do. I remember watching this on TV when I was a kid. My parents and family would sit around the TV and watch this show. What was it the Jackie Gleason Show or something like that?
