I remember him very well. Woolworths use to play the record on a small portable player at the front of the store to promote his records.

I remember him from the Jack Benny show.It's a shame shows of that era e.g. Amos and Andy and the wonderful Disney movie 'Song of the South' evidently cannot be broadcast again.

I do recall that funny guy. He always cracked me up with his skits. I'll miss him- he took me back to the days of Red Skelton, Jack Benny, and others.
