Hello everyone, been MIA again but I do enjoy this section when I'm here!!!
Not long ago I purchased a strip light so I could start to do a better job of my bodyscapes. It wasn't long before I found my first victim, a lovely young woman!
So we're embarking on a long and productive relationship of shooting bodyscapes!!
I will also be shooting these in film as well to get a true B&W look.
This one is a converted digi file using a single 12"x52" strip(first time using it!).
As always, let me know what you guys think??

Great image!!!!!! SS
However a body scape usually does not include facial features

Excellent... any time an image invokes memories of days gone by it has opened the cover on a book of stories... and the purpose of photography is to tell stories. Detailed photos in color just make a statement and that is the end of it... rather than the beginning.

I like it a lot. I like the facial feature " bodyscape" or not.
Definitely needed to download this one to appreciate it.

Hmmmm, does that mean I've got to cut her head off?! loL
Mangles, thanks!
I've got some shots planned that should be proper scapes.
BUT, I will continue to do some scapes with heads, or whatever they are!!!
Mangles, thanks for looking.

Very sharp Sharp...
Re comments that this style does not typically include head or facial content... when I first looked at the image, my inihial thought was I'd like a taste more facial illumination. I guess it's the difference of opinion that makes the horse race!

I truly enjoy your art, your science and your taste in women!

Beautiful, artistic photo that piques the imagination rather than flaunting nakedness (not that i have anything against the flaunting ).

Superb. Please don't 'cut her head off'. It adds to the allure. The lighting is perfect!!

Fat, thanks for appreciating my work.
What I do will always have a bit of differeance, at least that's my goal. It's to easy to shoot the same thing. Not that it's bad, but one doesn't grow as much as a photographer. Be it sports or nature, it's the different angle that's more fresh and causes pause.
I'm gonna try some tighter shots that have more edge and are less commonly seen.
Thanks Fat!
