Can anyone suggest a good lightweight tripod to carry around during shoots please?
Thanks
Depending on what you require your Tripod to perform, how much money you are willing to spend on a quality Tripod. Size requirement of your Tripod. These are things that must be answered, then you must shop around at places like B&H Photo, Adorama, Cameta Camera, Amazon, eBay, etc.
If price is not an issue, look at Gitzo. You get what you pay for.

A carbon fiber tripod is lightweight and more stable. It is impossible to advise specific models when you have not stated how much weight it will have to carry and how much you are willing to spend.
One place to get an idea of what you should get - go to the ReallyRightStuff.com website and look at their "Learn" section. It covers tripods and a lot of other information. Plus, if it is in your budget, their products are one of the best you can buy.
There has been some discussion on this subject in the past, dusmif. You might do a search and see what those past discussions have disclosed.
Thank you all for such a big feed back, and You are right it depends on a lot extra information. 8.8lbs is I think a bit heavy, when I saw that they could go down to 4 lbs, I will look at some of your links and see what I meet :-) Thank You again
It weighs 2.6 lbs. The load capacity is 8.8 lbs. But at 51" max height it is not very tall.
Thank you rick, sorry I misunderstood.but as you said, I prefer it to be a bit more taller.
rwilson, thank you for your offer, but I prefer to buy within Europe, other wise it would be too expensive. :-)

Just do some shopping around, comparing specs to see, which would fit your carrying weights!
