CO: I did like the architectural shot as well and really appreciate your helpful comments on my other shots. My instructor always told me that I had a good eye and it is my technical skills that I really need to work on. I absolutely can see that when I look at all the beautiful photos on this sight, so I truly appreciate what you said.

I like the chairs and the tables also Susan. But I have to tell you, I like that little grandson the best! I want to steal him! Hahaha

Welcome Susan. It's easy to see why some kids are called "Grand!" Love the shot from the MHH Bridge w/ Texas flag. I live in Dallas area, too... it's home. Having lived out of my element in S. Louisiana, I understand your hanging on to your Mn. Roots. Me Dad was from Bimiji, Mn. and was always out of his element here. My belief about home is, "Where you came from is normal. Anywhere else is not." Keep shooting, friend.
Good shots and keep posting Lishareading.
Nice job Susan..welcome to the forum.
Thank you for the warm welcome plash46.
Thanks, brobill. I just couldn't believe what a culture shock there was moving to Dallas and I have lived many places after marrying my husband, including Tokyo, Japan!
Thanks for the positive remarks and I will, angler.

Susan... one more word about Texans...
Never ask anyone if they are a Texan.
If they are, they'll tell you.
If they're not... don't embarrass them.
