I got called a hater yesterday, I really am not. Although trump, ryan, mc connell and rush limbaugh are not exactly on my Christmas card list. I wish them no ill health. I just wish they would disappear.
This guy posts how to clean your camera. I am wise enough to know, I can always learn something new.
So I right clicked my mouse, to become more knowledgeable about a subject that interested me. Nobody, enjoys taking the time to use spot removal, and we all want the cleanest shot we can take. I realize this is a generalization, who knows maybe there is someone in hog land that enjoys it. Just not me.
I was ready to be enlighten, and all I saw was a whole bunch of Nikon stuff. I was not impressed, and quite simply expressed that fact in a reply. This earned me a title of hater, and without the ability to reply, as I was blocked. Kinda petty if you want my assessment of the situation. Which you probably don't.
I then started thinking, I have almost as much stuff as he has. I own more than one pro body, I have a bunch of L lenses. So what? Big deal. Other than me, no one cares what I do or do not own.
Some of us have more disposable income than others. That does not lessen desire, for anyone, to become the best we can be, with the gear we have. That primal urge we [at least me] have to get that million dollars picture of the neighbors cat, is not limited to how many cameras or a vast array of lenses you may or may not own.
If the true desire is there, no matter the gear, the possibilities are limitless.
I did misquote myself, I do hate snobs.
Tom
I wish Obama whoul take a hike but we had him for 8 years, thats the way it goes. happy photography and don't trip over your camera strap.
Well, he probably blocked a few others also who agreed with you.
No loss.
I feel dumber for having read your post. You managed to tie Trump, Nikon, L lenses, and your neighbor's cat all into one incomprehensible post.

Really? I had no problem following it.
Yeah, I missed the connection between trump and Nikon, too.
Your Christmas Card List at the beginning of your topic was off base, as to the point you wanted to make.
I must believe, although sometimes difficult, that this country will awaken in time to erase this unamerican travesty in 2020.

There is no connection between Trump and Nikon. They are list items of things that he is not worked up about.

Not at all, it was part of his point. I understood the reference.
The point is, I was called a hater. I may not care for trump, but I don't hate him.
I went to a site I thought was about cleaning cameras, lenses ect.. Instead all that was posted were 5 or 6 shots of all this guys Nikon gear, which he has a lot of. I still am not impressed.
It does not matter to anyone else but me, if I own pro bodies or L lenses. Do you care what I have in my bag? Probably not.
We all make do with what we have. We are all looking for that million dollar picture, no matter the gear we own.
I still hate snobs.
We erased the UN-American, Obama is out of office and the Hildabeast was kept out of office, I call it a win win.

As I understand it blocking only affects what the OP sees. Everyone else can see your posts.
In this country you are allowed to hate whomever you wish as long as you don't engage in physical acts. You can say pretty much anything you want. Bounds of decency apply in certain venues, despite some haters (e.g. Cobert) inability to grasp that.
I don't think I hate anyone but I have say my disgust with the left wing media (which includes nearly all the major outlets) and people elected to Congress who only represent the left wingers who voted for them grows every day.
