I am in my seventies and am an avid birdwatcher from my desk as well as traveller. (Several bird feeders) I also want better photos of wildlife in my Maine field than an iphone 6 gives.
Do not want the weight of a DSLR, but a better telephoto than a pocket camera. Have always used Canon so not sure I want to learn a new system.
Should I go with the Canon SX60, wait until the mythical SX70 appears, or be brave and try another brand? I do not want a camera heavier that the SX60.
Hi, i use an SX50, and have done for a couple of years,it is a great camera and low in cost. i have been into wildlife photography for 65years and find the SX50 great as it is very light, and at my age luging heavy equipment is a thing of the past.I have enclosed a couple of shots to show you what the camera can do.Regards, Alfie.
