Just purchased the D750 which I add to my D600 so I don't have to switch lenses on a photo shoot. Just curious what other photographers set their U1, U2 settings. I do landscapes and street shooting. Thanks, new member.

I have a D7000 and a D810 (new). I haven't tried it yet, your question has moved me to try it. What settings do you use?

I think I originally used Ken Rockwell's settings and then modified them over time.

Welcome to the UHH forum family forum! I'm sure you'll get some great advice in response to your question..I've had my 750 for about a year now (to go along with a 7200) and
you will LOVE this full-frame camera! When you get time, just Google Nikon D750 tutorial and see what pops up! You'll see what other photographers say about their U1 and U2 settings,
including Ken Rockwell, a veteran photographer favorite of mine! Good luck, and keep us all posted on your decisions, OK? ---Greenmachine

I use U1 for general landscape wide angle, and U2 for outdoor wildlife. Saves time, especially when on vacation.

There's no user setting command dial setting on a D810.

On my old D7100, I had Basic Daylight Exposure, Sunny 16, settings - 1/200 sec @ f/16, ISO 200 - set on U1. For U2, I had nighttime setting for low light - 10 sec @ f/5, ISO 2000.

Setting sunny 16, you have a great place to start in any outdoors daylight situation.

I use them for my mtb and snow sports pics, but after winter I forget them.

Welcome to our forum!

I asked the same question (same camera) a couple of weeks ago.

Really practical. I set sunny 16 at 125, f/16 and 125. Works for me.
