I don't know if I would go as far as calling the OP "evil" just clueless and insensitive, and perhaps immature for even suggesting such a foolish and potentially dangerous stunt. What happens if in a moment of unthinking panic his daughter reaches out to grab the camera and either pushes her father over the edge or falls herself. I guess the "joke" would be on him.

I would love the see the look on his face before the stunt if she sees he is shooting a new D810 and say's something like. "Dad, I see you just got a new camera. Wow that's big and heavy. That's why I prefer my D7200, it smaller, lighter with more apparent reach then a full frame body." Then what does he do?

That is why I wrote "evil" - didn't mean EVIL, mean is more like it.

Apparently I matter enough to you that you took my post personal. I absolutely read what the OP said, but what you don't understand Sunshine was my original response addressed that in a mature and constructive way. Voicing my opinion, without resorting to the childish name calling you apparently engaged in. As for your accusation of narcissism, you are the one with a Flickr account. I take pictures for my own enjoyment, and have no need to jump up and saying LOOK AT ME, LOOK AT ME like a child begging for attention. Wow. Please reread your post, because you appear to be acting in precisely the same way as you're accusing the target of your vitriol to be. And you start off with the pejorative use of the words snowflake and sunshine?

Nice. All in all your post sounds pretty nasty and insulting to me. Perhaps you should look to cleaning up your own house before telling others how to behave. Keep in mind the OP of this thread posted his ridiculous scheme and asked for feedback on his idea. He just didn't get the feedback he expected..

Oh come on folks, Medic24 has a GREAT sense of humor on this. If they both enjoy doing things like this to each other then I say go for it and have fun with it!!! BTW for all you "I want time to learn the camera" people, the D7200 is a great camera (yes it is what I use) and she will be able to shoot her hearts galore with it when he returns it to her.

Clearly who haven't read carefully. He will be replacing it with a D810. And I beg to differ with your opinion regarding his "sense of humor". Hopefully you don't treat your kids that way.
