Yep, it is a Georgia Ghost Lizard in #2.. deadly bite... will make you hallucinate for sure and see other animals not there.

I love the simplicity of the last in the series. The Bokeh background is as it should be... a background with no competitive details.

Never did see the lizard. But the third picture is good. There are 13 letters of the alphabet that can be used in photographic compositions. You have a beautiful C.

when my husband's mother died at the age of 90,
we moved these little pink perennials from her yard
to ours. does anyone know what they are? do you
see the lizard in one of the pictures...or am I just nuts? if it is a lizard,
I didn't notice it while photographing the flowers.

Oxalis. Out here the yellow variety is more common. We have this variety in our yard. Nice captures. Also called lemon grass. The stalks taste sour like lemon - it is the oxalic acid in the plant.

They are lovely pics.
The hint of a lizard in 2 made me look twice. 😊

thank you carol for your nice comment and the id...i will google it and read what it says.
those little pink flowers have been coming back and blooming for several years.

Years ago I got my first SLR, a Minolta X700. It tooks a close up of a clump of these and had it enlarged. I still have it hanging and it is still a very pretty shot-just a little faded.

They look like a type of geranium. There are hundreds and hundreds of varieties. For plant ID it is always helpful to see a photo of the leaves and overall structure/size/shape of the plant.

thank you for looking and for your comment steve. next time i need a flower id, i will include the leaves and stems in the shot.
