We will be in Barcelona in 2 weeks but unfortunately, we have only one and a half days for touring and photo ops. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Of course the most famous landmark in Barcelona is the Cathedral of La Sagrada Familia. A must see.
I personally enjoy visiting Olympic stadiums of which they also have one.
About an hour east is the Dali museum.
Also, every park has groups of old men playing bules(boche ball). They make great subjects! Have a great time!

I would suggest you send a PM to UHH member GARGLEBLASTER. He is located in Spain.
The opera house, it is gorgeous.
I'm sorry I forgot its real name.

The Gran Teatre del Liceu.
Can I make a suggestion for an idea that has worked well for me over the years when I travel to new areas? I find a cab driver and ask him/her for the cost of a 1/2 day tour of the city/area. I tell him/her I want to see the well known tourist areas, but additionally I also want to see what he/she thinks I would find interesting - maybe some lesser known sites. I have generally been very pleasantly surprised.
My wife and I have been to Barcelona a few times and love the city. We always get on a Hop on-Hop off Red Bus which goes around the most popular tourist spots. It allows you to go around the city, see a site and then get back on to another site. As was already mentioned La Sagrada Familia is an incredible place inside and out. The Las Ramblas area is a Street with many restaurants, a huge market and numerous people who dress in costumes and stand as statues for tourists to photograph. The Red Bus will take you to an art museum at the top of a hill overlooking the city. It is a beautiful city and the food is great. We want to see your photos.

I highly suggest you buy tickets for La Sagrada Familia online. That is what we did when we visited in 2014. Otherwise, the line for tickets winds around the church and would take a couple of hours before you got in. It makes Disneyland lines look short.
go to the internet and read every thing you see reference pick pockets and how to avoid them. You will never beat them just do those things to make some one else an easier mark. Especially read the articles about how thieves removing lenses from cameras.
Try hop on hop off bus. Get to be transported to real sites near spend YUR desired time at each.

DON"T MISS La Sagarda Famila
Get tickets before hand.
Without having read through all of the responses I see that you've already gotten some good advice. Maybe someone has already suggest this but..If I remember correctly, there is a Picasso museum. I never cared much for his more popular work but......some of his early pieces are quite interesting.
Not so much a photo op but I really enjoyed a restaurant named LOS CARACOLES. Try their snails and their paella.

Excellent suggestions. Also the Picasso Museum and the Palau de Musica, both in the Gotic Quarter.
Don't miss the RAMBLAS- the great street where the people of Barcelona stroll every day / evening. It's great to get a sense of the people of Barcelona; young and old. Also there are a number of fantastically designed buildings and apartment blocks, designed by Antonio Gaudi, the architect of La Sagrada Familia.
