They did not let their warehouse people unionize. They fought tooth and nail, brought in union buster consultants and did everything possible to oppose the union. The union is the only reason the warehouse employees have any decent working conditions.
I do not know how you came to this thoroughly inaccurate and untrue opinion. The union vote took place Nov 2015 under the supervision of the NLRB which before, during, and after took no position that we had behaved improperly. Our warehouse employees have the same decent working conditions now as they did before the vote. There were reports of asbestos, fiberglass, separate and unsanitary restrooms, and undocumented employees. None of this was or is true. The accusations were generated by the Laundry Workers, a NY-based pro-union group unrelated to the union itself. Their smear campaign was designed to stir fervor among the employees. Eventually the union asked them to desist.

They should move them to Tennessee it's a right to work law state.
The right to work does not stop you from the right to mess up.
When so many of the camera stores today are suspect in their dealings, B&H is shining example .
I am sure that B&H feel bad about your misfortunes. Correcting them without question shows their integrity.
In 40 odd years of dealing with them, I have never had a problem. They must be doing something right
I'm local to B&H and I never use them anymore due to the way they treat their staff. I've boycotted them. There are certainly other local retailers I buy from (and do). Its a shame to say ,but it's the truth. I'm all about supporting your local business, union or not.

I for one do not believe you.

Every company has issues to deal with. Mistakes happen. The bigger the company or scale of operation the more mistakes will happen as a result of probability. The two issues are the percentage of mistakes from total transactions and then how a company deals with the mistakes. I would be delighted to have B&H as a local store, I just don't want to live in Manhattan, but they are among the very best of photographic and electronic equipment suppliers. If you are ever in New York go visit and observe them in action, it is very impressive. Just don't try to go on a Saturday!
Ref: B&H... Getting the correct order is the most important element. Getting free shipping and saving on sales tax is less important. They always say "Sorry" but that doesn't fix the problems. The sales dept is great but service after sale is more important...time to move on.

I'm pretty sure I've covered this adequately, but in case you missed my earlier comments, we treat our staff with professionalism, respect, and courtesy. This is not by any means a new policy on our part. We consider the company-employee relationship as valuable and important to our overall success as the company-customer relationship.

I always check B&H first. They have been supplying me with various stuff for over twenty years. We all have preferences, and mine is breadth of selection. That is my loyalty, and to that B&H has been the top retailer. When there is a problem, or a supposed slight, I voice my concern, and they are always there to treat the customer as king. What's not to like???

I just sent you an email. It is unfortunate the turn this thread has taken, though I probably should have known!
It's time for this thread to be banished to the attic or the cellar.

Never ship by USPS! I've worked with
their Distribution Center and it's a side show. They are losing billions every year. Lost over 200 million during Xmass.
Us UPS/FedEx..

Sounds like you've had far more than a reasonable share of bad experience. I hope you forward your comments to B&H, as I know they would appreciate having a summary of what has happened in your case. I've always been very satisfied with my years of shopping B&H, but I understand completely your disappointment and frustration. I just hope that--if still possible--they "make it right." Good luck!
I appreciate your positive reply. It seems like nowadays so many replies are snarky.

I haven't been on for awhile. It used to be that someone from B&H would regularly scan this website for comments, particularly, but not exclusively, negative ones and address the concern personally. I was impressed that they cared enough to do that. I'm expecting a hodgepodge order of inexpensive accessories in a few days. Based on this message, it could be very interesting.
