Not my photos. My wife found them but anonymous photographers:

Do you think that a photo would be significantly improved if we followed the rule of 1/Pi instead of the rule of 1/3?

That would be irrational!

Actually I think it was last year if I remember Pi it was 3.1416, not 3.1417...

Best,

Well, if you really want to "round" things off, why not just say Pi has the value 3 (no decimals) and call it a day. Then every month has a "pie" day, so then every 3rd of the month is Pizza Day!!! Works for me.

Unfortunately the US and UK both use a very poorly thought-out date notation. The ONLY logical way is YY/MM/DD (or YYYY/MM/DD if you care about the century), and if you want more granularity you can can add hh.mm.ss onto the end. ANYONE CARE TO ARGUE???

In fact, you don't need the separators at all if you use all the characters for month and day. When used at the beginning of filenames that you want to have in chronological order it works VERY well.

I organize my photos on my computer in folders yyyy-mm-dd and it works very well; I often add a description after the day. I have been using this for many years and it works well for me. I'm an engineer, so I have a rather logical mind.
