I actually work at a children's hospital. It does get busy at times but working with children is totally different than with adults. I totally enjoy it, I feel fortunate I have a job I love going to.My boyfriend is a firefighter so yeah I understand

From a family of NJ Firefighters in a big NJ city , my Dad and two cousins got hurt a lot and it were the RN's at the hospital that did all the work . My Dad always praised the nurses for their hard work . And at University Hospital in Newark it's more like a M*A*S*H unit ! Great field you are in . Thank you Samantha ! ( Hope your hospital isn't so busy ) .
Great T shirt. As a physician,I have a great appreciation for all nurses and feel they are under appreciated and underpaid, and, despite that, some of the best and brightest still go into the profession.

an NA (nurse assistant) is not a licensed nurse. I'm a RN, now retired for the last 12 years. Supervised over 100 medical staff. Please do not call a MA or NA a nurse they haven't earned it yet.

That is for damn sure !!! Nurses make the medical profession work. Without them, the hospitals would be full of corpses.
I am sorry this post upset you. I posted it as humor. The dumb things guys do when drinking or not.

This has been around a while as an R/N I've found it to be factual.
Great quote Samantha. I recently spent some time in hospital and a doctor came and said she was going to put the cannula (spelling?) in my arm (back of hand). I said "no your not" She asked why and I said "I want a nurse to do it, from experience they do it right the first time." She promptly left and returned with a nurse who did it -no problems.
