You would have to have "regained consciousness" for the first person to be a paramedic or EMT. As a retired CRNA, (that's also a nurse). I have often been the FIRST human seen .."POST-TRAUMA"... oooh-rah!! to all nurses, so often marvels. RJM

Funny t-shirt, and very true in many cases. I didn't know you were an RN, one of the toughest jobs but in many cases one of the most rewarding. Just wanted to say thanks for picking that career and putting up with a few creeps so you can help so many. You're a hero to many like myself.

From a family of NJ Firefighters in a big NJ city , my Dad and two cousins got hurt a lot and it were the RN's at the hospital that did all the work . My Dad always praised the nurses for their hard work . And at University Hospital in Newark it's more like a M*A*S*H unit ! Great field you are in .
