during a GAS attack I clicked BUY and my new toy arrived today.
I bought my tablet when I took a week long workshop in PS. Needed a digital paint brush to avoid hand cramping and get fine details. Was very awkward at first, but now I use it all the time. Never touch my mouse. Stick with it you will love it in time!

Day 2 with the Wacom, still getting the hang of it, I assigned the buttons to layers, just tap and get a layer or adjustment layer, That saves a few keystrokes. I cut a small plastic tube and taped it to the desk to hold the pen otherwise it surely would be gone.

Today is day 6, Ive watched all the tutorials and none really explained all the things you can do with the tablet.
Im still having troubles when I want to move a lot of files from one directory to another. Sometimes I can't get a page to scroll up or down as easily as the mouse.
All in all I like it, Using photoshop takes a bit more skill. I thought tracing outlines using the pen would be easier, and its def getting easier all the time.
One of the things I worried about when buying the cheap model was the fact that the tablet was much smaller.
Turns out, thats not a problem and I like the small size. You have less hand movement then with a larger tablet.
so after 6 days. I like it and the mouse just sits there patiently waiting....
