The submissions were blind judged so I couldn't be sure. That doesn't mean you give up, go onto "photo contest insider" and you will see a whole host of contests paid and free to enter. Go for it Gal and look out for the next contest from Alverton Gallery. As a pre cursor to submitting an image to a contest you colud always post it first on here and ask for critical feedback, what do you think?

Yeah I might do that, i guess a lot of it is knowing what the judges are looking for and knowing what mistakes not to make that will get you marked down
