I wonder if others have revisited travel albums several years after the initial edit and discovered images that had the hidden beauty of the colors locked away due to outdated software? I can remember that, at the time my BH and I made the trip to Acadia NP, Maine, I was pretty disappointed by the pervasive grey skies and fog. But I've had the chance to rework some of my favorite images in Lightroom6 and found the latent colors that were there all along. Kinda makes me want to go back again!

very pretty shots of wonderful acadia. visited there once and loved that place.

Very nice set. I, too, like the boats the best.

I frequently get home from a trip and look at my pics only to say, "I thought I did better than that!" But a year later, I can go back and see value in the images. Nice images!

Brings back fond memories of a long weekend we spent up there. Flew into Portland then drove up along the coast.

Played golf on the oldest course in New England in Bar Harbor. Scenery was fantastic, as you've demonstrated admirably.

Sorry you didn't get the best of weather. The place is gorgeous. At least you did a nice job of making the most of your photos. The schooner (Margaret Todd) is particularly nice.

Nice work on all these photos, and, to me, the boat is outstanding.

Thanks, John--it was still mostly dark when I set up for the boat image and it took a few shots before I got the shutter fast enough so that the rocking motion didn't show up as blur. That was a learning moment for me.

I can only imagine the stunning photo collection you must have from your time in Maine, Linda! Glad these afforded you a brief walk down memory lane.

Very nice work. Number four is outstanding in my book.

I appreciate that, Dean! It was very early morning when I spotted the sailing vessel moored up and it took a bit of tweaking the camera settings to get the image clear without blur in the low light, but I was so happy to find the boats resting in calm water before the day's activities set things in motion.
