We have a major anniversary on the way. What should my wife give me? Please don't suggest that I ask her, I want it to be a surprise
I can't help you, I'm in the same boat (40th) so I'm anxious to hear what others suggest. Luckily she's a photographer too.
Somebody else in your house is having an anniversary to; any ideas what she would want?

I think I will give her a 1Dx
The Leica M-A (Type 127)
Is a camera from another time—a purely mechanical 35mm rangefinder, perfectly engineered.
Incredible build quality.
Bright, uncluttered viewfinder.
Completely mechanical operation.
Requires no batteries.
Nearly silent shutter.
PC sync socket.
Available in chrome or black.
Shutter tops out at 1/1,000-second.
Sync speed limited to 1/50-second.
Omits in-camera meter.
You'll Love it.
I am going to buy my wife a Ferrari, a bright yellow one.
She does not drive
How about a trip to somewhere photogenic? Depending on the season, Acadia?, Lancaster?, DC?, NYC?

I think I will give the wife 25 Long Stem Roses--1 for every happy year of our marriage. I will have them delivered to Martha's Vineyard, where we will be for our anniversary.
My wife likes anything for the garden, concrete statues or bird feeders. She loves to read so I also got her a Barns and Noble membership. She is in Hog Haven

Why the 1DX, for only about $600.00 more you could get her the 1DXII?

Didn't think the extra $600 was worth it, as she is not a photographer
