Didn't think the extra $600 was worth it, as she is not a photographer
Sorry, I'm a little slow this morning. We're coming up on a big anniversary and I'm pretty sure that it will be the 1DXII as we are both photographers. That also means she will get an update from the 7D to the 7DMKII to use with her 300mmf/2.8. Happy Anniversary!

Thanks. Maybe she will update my 7D also.
Well, if you are the note taking type and prone to leaving you lists around, you coykd try to plant some so-called researchy notes about that camera & lens of your dreams. Plant them in useful places like partly under her coffee cup.

We have a major anniversary on the way. What should my wife give me? Please don't suggest that I ask her, I want it to be a surprise
The guy in the previous post gave his wife a taser. Tried it on himself to make sure it worked. If you do this, make sure you video the test.
I gave my wife six long stem red roses, one for each year of our happy marriage. It was for out twenty-fifth anniversary.

That's why the 25 roses, maybe I should reduce it to 12.

I think I will give the wife 25 Long Stem Roses--1 for every happy year of our marriage. I will have them delivered to Martha's Vineyard, where we will be for our anniversary.
Sounds pretty good, assuming the "major anniversary" is the 25th.
And that is probably better than camera stuff. There is always the traditional anniversary gift list as well. It all depends on what your wife likes and how much she might be expecting (whether she communicates it or not).
It is a little bit strange for a person who should know your wife the most is asking a bunch of strangers who don't know her at all. (just saying...)
For our 25th, we planned it together. Our dream was to drive to Alaska. You can see what we did at <

lighten up. This whole thread is just for fun, and a few laughs. Weare going to the Vineyard. We love it there. I will post photos in Sept when we return.
I would contribute to this thread but when I read the divorce, it just cannot be topped.
Take whatever she gives you with a smile, a hug, and a kiss. Be thankful she'said still with you and not raping your ASSETS in divorce court.
I got mine something that will go from 0 to 150 in seconds. A set of scales. In trouble.
