Nice shots from your Nikon D3300.. The camera is now discontinued, and I would prefer it over the new D3400. I'm considering buying a refurbished one with lens, as an upcoming gift, for a young relative. Keep on shooting.

Dying to know what entry level DSLR did you get? My first one many years ago was a Canon 20D.

Does Nikon D3300 ring a bell , like he printed out at beginning of his page .

Don't worry about the so-called 'entry level' status. It is basically a black box with a lens. Nikon 'entry level' lenses are generally pretty good. I used a D40 for several years until I went to a D7000 and quite honestly, I see no difference in the quality of photos.

Maybe eye glasses would help . Or try printing them out to say 8x10 . It should be night and day difference .

Welcome. You can go back after a post and name or number each picture for discussion. I like the top picture of statue and tree. I would crop them to give balance to the work. If you ever want us to adjust a picture than click on "store original" to allow a better download. I could show you my crop if you give me permission. Also learn to see you camera settings on your computer. All computers have the exif files, date, time, ISO, shutter seed, and aperture settings and lens used. I have Photoshop Elelments which is about $69 for last years software. Best for the price. David

I saw a lot of symbolism in the statue photo. I did crop some but wanted to maintain and represent the size and expanse of "our world." The statue represents the past and years gone by, but still remaining vigilant and watching over our world. The tree represents life and the future. Almost like a young child. The statue is probably 100 years old. The tree maybe 25-30. Thanks very much for your comment and input

On second thought, there may be a bit of awkward balance there, but I can play with it....thanks
