Just got my camera and took some random shots down at the seashore, getting used to the camera.
Pretty good clarity with an entry level DSLR...All auto..unedited. Will get better as time goes on.
Thought statue and tree was interesting. Statue "wrongly centered" but offset by the tree.
I like trees..branching patterns

Dying to know what entry level DSLR did you get? My first one many years ago was a Canon 20D.

Don't worry about the so-called 'entry level' status. It is basically a black box with a lens. Nikon 'entry level' lenses are generally pretty good. I used a D40 for several years until I went to a D7000 and quite honestly, I see no difference in the quality of photos.

I did a lot of reading and research before I bought. Went with the Nikon D-3300.
You can get the kit lens and also a 55mm-200mm in a bundle package for a really good price...
I missed that sale.."ouch"...so I will have to buy the zoom lens separately.

Not bad at all for your first pictures with the new camera. Just remember that camera and lenses are only tools and the quality of your photography will depend more on you than on them.
Entry cameras offer a great value for the money.
Enjoy!
